The CFDA preliminary official schedule places New York Fashion Week from Thursday, September 10 through Tuesday, September 15. The organization says the preliminary schedule contains 70 runway shows and designer presentations, with other collections due by appointment or online. It identifies a Thursday opening led by Henry Zankov's debut collection as artistic director for Diane von Furstenberg and a Tuesday close by Thom Browne.
The CFDA also lists activity on Wednesday, September 9, before the official opening day. Ralph Lauren is scheduled to present that day, alongside shows or presentations from Coach, Rachel Comey, Cult Gaia, J. Press, and Libertine. That distinction matters for anyone building a working calendar. The formal week begins on September 10, while relevant schedule activity begins a day earlier.
One rule change is tied directly to this season. The CFDA says its fur-free policy takes effect for brands appearing on the official schedule. That statement establishes the organizer's condition for participation. London follows with one travel day between calendars
The British Fashion Council provisional schedule announcement dates London Fashion Week from Thursday, September 17 through Monday, September 21. On the current official sequence, that leaves Wednesday, September 16 between New York's Tuesday close and London's Thursday opening.

Paris extends the sequence into October

That creates a six-day interval after London's Monday close before Paris begins the following Monday. It also means the September circuit does not end in September. Paris carries the current official sequence through the first Tuesday of October.
The FHCM page currently mixes settled date information with an event listing that can continue to develop. It records the week dates, the showroom window, and accreditation availability. It should not be treated as proof that the public event list is complete. As with London, the safe editorial approach is to distinguish the calendar frame from the still-changing detail inside it.
What the combined calendar supports
Read together, the three official records establish a bounded planning sequence. New York's formal dates are September 10 to 15, with named activity on September 9. London follows September 17 to 21.
